For every roll of HUESKER product sold in Australia, one tree is planted.

Australia is a very large country, a continent with stunning nature that needs to be preserved. This is our common goal, because Australia is not spared from climate change and associated natural disasters. Floods, fires and cyclones, require sustainable countermeasures and responsible action. For this reason, we decided to do a joint project together with One Tree Planted

One Tree Planted ...

is a non-profit organization and plants trees. It's as simple as that and so effective, because One Tree Planted operates worldwide and of course also in Australia. On the ground, the projects are carried out together with the cities and municipalities. And with every tree, we improve the environmental conditions for humans and animals. This includes the preservation of habitats, the restoration of ecosystems and, last but not least, the involvement of each individual in nature conservation. We at HUESKER will be there.

A miracle of nature

The fact is that every tree provides fresh air by sequestering carbon and releasing oxygen. Photosynthesis is a miracle of nature. But a tree can do much more: it filters our drinking water, provides shade and provides habitat for much of our wildlife. Unfortunately, this habitat is repeatedly destroyed – by natural disturbances such as forest fires, drought, insect and disease infestations – and unnatural disturbances such as deforestation and development. We believe that it is our duty to support reforestation. That's why we're proud to partner with One Tree Planted to make a positive impact on the world by restoring diverse ecosystems such as wildlife habitats, wetlands and rainforests.

Good to know: Many of our products are designed with sustainability in mind from the start. But we want to make a difference in our community and beyond. That's why we plant a tree for every HUESKER roll purchased by our customers in Australia. This adds up to a few hectares that are helping to restore wetlands and rainforests as habitats for wildlife, improve climate resilience and create green cities for future generations, for example. And just as you read these lines, another tree has probably been planted.

Growing success

It works! Since April 2022, we have already planted 10,000 trees (as of Novemebr 2023). And the "Growing Success" simply makes you want more. Together with One Tree Planted, we are therefore planning a major planting campaign in the cities where we at HUESKER operate. In other words, right on your doorstep, to create a greener and more sustainable future for generations to come. We are happy to be able to witness how our beautiful country becomes a little greener with every tree.
