Even as a globally active company, we have never lost sight of our Münsterland roots. Our head office is in Gescher. We are proud of this – and we will continue to stand up for the region in the future.
Being there is everything. True to the Olympic motto, we at HUESKER consider ourselves quite sporty. For example, with our running or soccer teams. But we have also made a name for ourselves as a sponsor of local clubs and institutions, in the truest sense of the word. For many years, we have been the main sponsor of SV Gescher. On the boards, banners and sports kit we are visually present and at the same time support a good cause. Always close to the ball and close to the people in the region.
But our support doesn't stop at SV. We also support the mostly voluntary work of the many members, some of whom are also employed by us, at SUS Hochmoor or TV Gescher.
Our support starts on site
Experience has shown that it is often the little things that need our attention. So, you can also find our company logo on the leisure camp sweaters of the altar boys. Or we cover the local beach volleyball court with our textiles so that it remains clean and playable. And we are in our element when we explain to kindergarten children – as part of the "Children Research" initiative – how to build sandcastles higher and more stable.
A "well-coordinated" Christmas donation
In 2022, for the first time, we decided to do without individual gifts as much as possible. Instead, we preferred to financially support three charitable organizations. And we let our customers vote for who we should support. By vote, the majority of them decided in favor of the Children's Cancer Aid Weseke, who were delighted to receive our Christmas donation. But also, the Tafel Gescher and Engineers Without Borders did not go away empty-handed and received a share.
We will stay on the ball: Of course, we will continue to contribute and support associations and projects in the region in the future. This is what we are committed to – with great pleasure and, of course, with our logo.
