Contact, inform, fascinate: For the successful promotion and acquisition of junior staff, HUESKER is on the road event at night!

The HUESKER company is like a big family. And every year we grow a little bit more. Because we stand up for our junior staff, for our trainees and young professionals. Because we roll up our sleeves and take action to get young people excited about our company. Here are some examples:

"The Night of Training"

This is the third year that we have taken part and opened our blue-lit gates for a the "Night of Training". Directly on site, we offer young people and all interested parties the opportunity to find out about the professional opportunities and advantages that we offer young people in an informal and casual environment.

And, because we also want to present ourselves as an attractive employer in the area, there are other trade fair dates on the program: We were and are also part of the CoeMBO or the trainee speed dating in Borken. In order to fill vacant training positions, you have to be able to inspire people. That's why we will continue to put out feelers next year and use the various training fairs to attract future professionals.

Training Ambassadors

Our training ambassadors are going where we believe our future lies and that’s in schools. A project for career orientation, in which pupils and trainees can meet without teachers and exchange ideas without inhibition. For example, in grade 9 of the Velen comprehensive school, our trainee Till Kröger gave an authentic insight into his working world as an ambassador. After all, who better to describe an apprenticeship than a trainee himself? In addition, our trainee was well prepared, and it made for an exciting presentation. And maybe we will see some of these students again during the internship or training. We would be delighted!

Gescher Comprehensive School

Of course, we didn't want to miss the 10th anniversary of the Gescher comprehensive school. As a long-standing partner, it was an honor for us to celebrate together with teachers, parents and, of course, the students. The day was filled with fun and games. And in the gorgeous weather, bags filled with corn flew through the air during the corn hole game. There was also enough time to speak about their first insights into future professional fields. In any case, HUESKER is grateful for a wonderful celebration and the many valuable contacts that were made during the day. Maybe we'll see each other again at some point, hopefully, during an internship.

Committed and competent junior staff is an important pillar for a successful future for any company. The exchange with potential trainees is enormously important, as career opportunities and prospects are clearly neglected in schools.

I always find it interesting to talk to students and their parents about the future of the students and to tell them from my point of view what the training at HUESKER was like.
